In 1995 MTRC Hong Kong had awarded Faiveley with the contract for Platform Screen Doors for the new Hong Kong Airport Express and Tung Chung Line.
After a first success story in Taipei in year 1992 this was Faiveley' s second contract of PSD in Asia and marked the beginning of its permanent implementation in the Far East region with the establishment of Faiveley Transport Hong Kong Ltd.
Ever since Faiveley' s Platform Screen Doors and Automatic Platform Gates business has been showing an uninterrupted, growing path of success and expansion allowing us today to serve the whole Far East and China region with 90 dedicated PSD staff in three Faiveley Transport Far East entities in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Bangkok, supported by project officies in Beijing, Guangzhou, Taipei and Seoul.
Today in 2006 as the uncontested worldwide leader in Platform Screen Doors and Automatic Platform Gates business we are proud having installed or having currently under installation more than 10 000 Platform Doors or Gates either as fully equipped platform facade or in the provision of all strategic and critical PSD core components for such platform facades.
While equally marketing and servicing all Faiveley Transport on-board E&M equipment, yet Faiveley Transport Far East has emerged over the last successful years as the leading PSD company not only within the Faiveley Transport Group but also among its competitors. . |
